Pete Collins, a quality manager at a construction company, has been chosen as today’s panelist on BBC Radio Two’s Sarah Cox Breakfast Show.
The father-of-two was welcomed onto the show by the popular radio presenter and spoke about his wife and daughters Emily and Grace.
Pete called in to take part in the daily Let’s Listen to the Noise quiz, which tests contestants’ ability to quickly identify sounds.
Around 20 audio clips, ranging from everyday sounds to theme tunes, are collected together and players have 20 seconds to name as many as possible.
This week the top score was six points and the contestant with the most points will win a pair of Sara socks.
Pete was tasked with identifying sounds and managed to score five points, which was just shy of his maximum score so far.
Luckily, he didn’t leave empty-handed and Pete was awarded a Sara Cox Breakfast Show toothbrush for his participation.
