Moderate to heavy rainfall has occurred in Son La, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Lam Dong provinces and Dong Nai city in recent hours, according to the National Hydrometeorological Forecasting Center.
Soil moisture models indicate that some areas of the above-mentioned provinces and cities are approaching saturation (over 85%) or have already reached saturation.
Warning: Rainfall will continue in the above mentioned areas for the next 6 hours, leading to the risk of flash floods on small rivers and landslides on slopes in many localities/areas.

In Thanh Hoa province alone, 19 municipalities were warned of the risk of flash floods and landslides in the next 6 hours, including: Than Glok, Thanh Quan, Xuan Trinh; Ba Tuoc, Hien Kiet, Hoi Xuan, Luan Thanh, Muong Ly, Muong Minh, Na Meo, Nhi Son, Son Dien, Son Thuy, Tam Trung, Tan Thanh, Thanh Phong, Trung Ly, Trung Son and Van Xuan.
