Usher quickly put an end to her sexy serenade of a fan on stage after she became visibly uncomfortable.
In a now-viral moment during the singer’s Nashville performance on The R&B Tour with Chris Brown on Saturday, a woman in the audience walked onto the stage while a select Usher fan sang. But when a shirtless Usher began singing to her, she looked painfully awkward, although he continued to try to interact with her, lightly touching her chin and face.
But when he tried to sit her down on the stage bed and she struggled back, the 47-year-old singer pulled away.
“I don’t think she wants to be on stage, right?” he asked the audience, looking puzzled.

In the end, “Yes!” the singer walked away from her completely and waved his hand back toward the stage to indicate that the fan should be removed, looking annoyed when some fans began booing.
The fan later took to social media to address the criticism she received, responding to comments that she should never have agreed to go on stage if she didn’t want to be there.
“First of all, NO ONE refuses to go on stage,” she wrote. “I looked good, do you think I wasn’t going to let THOUSANDS of people see me?”

She said she and her mom had seats at the first concert and was moved to the VIP section before the concert started because she was “pretty privileged.”
“They don’t say who you’re going up there for!” she wrote. “You all wanted me to go there and fuck him?”
On Sunday, she posted a selfie and meaningfully captioned her post, “No worries 😘.”
But she continued to defend herself on her Instagram Stories, insisting her attitude was not “nasty”.
“You will not go online screaming my name, disrespecting me and expecting me to keep my cool!” she said, adding, “Don’t think you’re going to bully me because of an experience you didn’t have!”

Usher is known for his racy interactions with fans at concerts. His bodyguard went viral in 2024 for seemingly looking disgusted during the Past Present Future tour, during the part of the singer’s show where he allowed audience members to seductively eat cherries.
Usher’s co-headliner, Chris Brown, also went viral in September 2025, but because of the completely different reaction he received for dragging a fan on stage – that fan was Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole.
Brown, 37, gave Nicole, 34, a sensual lap dance during a performance of his 2007 hit “Take You Down” during the Breezy Bowl XX Tour in Los Angeles, causing controversy online. Some fans felt they went too far, while others praised Nicole for seizing the moment.
