Earlier today, Trump said the US would “probably” strike Iran “very hard” again tonight.

“We hit them very hard last night, very, very hard,” Trump said, adding that the US would “probably hit them hard again tonight.”

Trump added: “I gave them a little warning, we’re going to hit them hard again tonight.”

Earlier in the day, when asked whether the ceasefire and the memorandum of understanding agreed upon by the two countries last month had expired, Trump said: “I think it’s over.

“I don’t want to deal with them anymore, they’re trash. Do you know what garbage is? They’re trash. They are sick people.”

Asked whether negotiations would resume, Trump replied: “I don’t care, they can talk. But I think they’re wasting their time. It’s a bunch of lying guys.”
