The tragedy occurred this Saturday, July 4, on departmental road 106, in the town of Castellare di Casinca. According to preliminary information from emergency services, the car left the roadway in the town of Anghione shortly before 23:00. The losses are heavy: two passengers in the car, a man and a woman aged between 25 and 30, died, according to emergency services.
The two other occupants of the car, a man and a woman, were treated by firefighters in a relatively emergency situation and evacuated to the Bastia hospital center. According to emergency services, the circumstances surrounding the run off the road are yet to be determined. The only certainty is that it was the only car involved in the incident.
This intervention required the deployment of essential equipment: two ambulances and casualty assistance, a rescue vehicle, a light medical vehicle, doctor Samu, the team leader, as well as gendarmerie soldiers responsible, among other things, for surveillance to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
