Germany are fighting for two European titles, and free-to-air television is taking part in the coverage. The RTL group broadcasts them on its channels. football-U19 Team Finals live.
On Friday at 18:00 the German U19 girls will face Spain for the European Championship crown. (preview from 5:30 p.m.) – Live on Nitro. The final will take place at the Grbavica stadium in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). In the semi-finals, the German team beat Austria 1:0 after extra time. Frankfurt’s Tessa Zimmermann (18) scored the winning goal in the 109th minute. The German coach is former national team player Melanie Behringer (41 years old). Spain beat Sweden 3-0 to reach the final. Southern Europeans have won the last four European titles in this age group. The game is commentated by Amanda Reiners, expert Vanessa Martini. Women are followed by men under 19 years of age.
Saturday’s program includes a second final: in Wrexham (Wales) the U19 men will play Spain from 20:00. on RTL (preliminary reports will begin at 19:30). Both teams have already met once in the group stage. Spain won there 4-0, but Germany did not play a top team. The team of coach Christian Werns (54 years old) reached the final, defeating Ukraine in the semi-final with a score of 2:1. Otto Stange (19) and Francis Onyeka (19) met there. Germany last reached the final in 2014, when they beat Portugal 1-0.
