Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed in west London, the Metropolitan Police said.
The man and woman, both 21, remain in custody after being arrested on Sunday in connection with the death of Haruun Hassan.
Police were called to the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road in Hounslow at 1.47am BST on Tuesday following reports of a knife attack.
Hasan, who lived there, was found with serious injuries and died at the scene despite the efforts of London Ambulance Service paramedics.
The Met said his immediate family was being supported by specialists.
Children’s director Paul Waller said: “Our thoughts remain with Haruun’s family at this very difficult time.
“Our investigation is progressing, we have made two arrests and these individuals are now in custody.”
The investigation is ongoing and police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
