Daria Tuboltseva has been working as a sports journalist since 2014 and has specialized in covering hockey since 2016. She has covered some of the world’s biggest sporting events, including the Olympic Games (Beijing 2022), IIHF World Championship (2018), IIHF World Championships (2016-2019, 2021), IIHF World Junior Championship (2019) and every Gagarin Cup final since. 2017.
Her work has appeared in leading Russian sports publications such as Championat.com and Sport24, as well as on the official websites of the KHL and Women’s Hockey League (WHL). Daria has conducted exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in sports, including Alex Ovechkin, Jaromir Jagr, Kirill Kaprizov, Sergei Bobrovsky and Igor Shesterkin.
In addition to writing, Daria has extensive experience working on camera. She hosted “NHL Today” on Yandex.Ether and produced powerful long-term projects such as the documentary “The Crash of Lokomotiv” and the series “Hockey Country” with the participation of such stars as Ovechkin, Malkin, Bobrovsky, Vasilevsky and Panarin. Her work has taken her to NHL games in North America and international events such as the NHL Global Series in Europe.
In addition to her media career, Daria is a Certified Integrative Nutritionist specializing in sports nutrition. She works one-on-one with KHL players to help them optimize performance and recovery through customized nutrition plans. Her ability to combine media experience with athlete support gives her a unique presence in the professional hockey world.
Daria publishes materials in English and Russian and is the creator of the Telegram channel “The Coolest Game on Earth,” where she shares ideas, interviews and behind-the-scenes stories from the hockey world.
