Romantic and completely boho, the dress featured a V-neckline with delicate ribbons, a ruffled collar and a full ruffled skirt.

The entire ensemble was encased in a fabulous cape, which also featured a row of maxi ruffles along the hem. The look was completed with romantic sandals with a bow, an elegant hairstyle and a simple, sophisticated bridal bouquet, dominated by white flowers.

Lanvin wedding dress tradition

The history of Lanvin wedding dresses dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. The first chapter dates back to 1909, when founder Jeanne Lanvin opened the wedding dress department. Her creations were created within the framework of haute couture and intended for Parisian high society; They were distinguished by precious embroidery, sophisticated execution and silhouettes in a classic style.

The decisive turning point came in 2008 with Alber Elbaz. The longtime creative director launched Lanvin Blanche, a line entirely dedicated to ready-to-wear bridal fashion. The goal was to democratize the wedding dress by offering ready-to-wear styles that could be purchased and worn without the long wait for high fashion. The collection includes short dresses, pantsuits and asymmetrical ballgowns, created for the unconventional and humorous bride.

When Bruno Sialelli took over as creative director between 2019 and 2023, Lanvin Blanche’s independent line made way for a different approach. Sialelli has blurred the lines between fashion and bridal by incorporating all-white dresses, ivory dresses and bridal gowns directly into seasonal ready-to-wear collections. Although his flowing silk evening dresses and slip dresses were not designed exclusively as wedding dresses, they became sophisticated choices even for the wedding day and helped define a new idea for modern bridal wear.

This is how Eva Herzigova’s wedding day was planned

The church wedding took place in the Church of San Vito in Turin. The groom arrived in a historic 1989 Aston Martin V8, accompanied by his sons George (18), Philip (15) and Edward (12). Then Eva Herzigova and Gregorio Marciai went with their guests to the city center, where a civil wedding took place in the luxurious halls of Palazzo Carignano. The day ended with dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Del Cambio. Among the guests were Eva’s longtime colleagues: Carmen Kass, Mariacarla Boscono and Marpessa Hennink.
