Unstable weather with strong thunderstorms is expected in Hesse on Friday. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), the risk of thunderstorms is already increasing in the morning. Heavy showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail and squalls are possible during the day. Temperatures reach a maximum of 25 to 28 degrees, at higher altitudes around 23 degrees.
Showers and thunderstorms will move into the southeast on Saturday evening. DWD experts say Saturday will be much calmer. In clear or cloudy weather, it will be mostly dry; isolated showers or brief thunderstorms are possible only in the mountains. Maximum values are between 22 and 27 degrees.
Thunderstorms possible again on Sunday
Sunday will be mostly dry in Hesse. While the Northeast may develop isolated showers or thunderstorms with heavy clouds, other locations will see a mix of clouds and sun. Maximums range from 18 degrees in the mountains to 25 degrees in the Rhine-Main region.
