The German Weather Service (DWD) has issued an official severe weather warning for the areas of Hildesheim, Hameln-Pyrmont, Schaumburg, Northeim, Peine, Gifhorn, Helmstedt, Celle, Wolfenbรผttel and Uelzen, as well as for the cities of Braunschweig, Wolfsburg and the Hannover region.
