Kochi: Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan ignored KSU State President Aloysius Xavier. During the health summit held at Thevara SH College, the Chief Minister returned without showing his face to Aloysius Xavier. V.D. ignored Aloysius, who was waiting for him, leaving the stage after the performance. Now footage has surfaced of Satheesan turning his face.

The incident took place after a program at Thevara College. Aloysius, who was in the audience at the beginning of the program, came closer to see and talk to Satisan as he left the stage after the performance. But Satishan, who was talking with some others, pretended that he did not see Aloysius approaching him.
Satheesan, a KSU and Youth Congress-bred leader, was criticized that such behavior towards a student leader would send a bad message among activists. It is also alleged that there is a violation of the respect and organizational etiquette that should be shown to the rank and file. The leadership of the KSU staff is irritated at being ignored even in a public forum, despite having previously sought permission for a meeting but was denied.
Behind this fight is criticism from the KSU regarding the appointment of a government representative. Satheesan’s sarcastic response to the objections raised by the Thiruvananthapuram Law College Chapter Committee regarding the appointment of a lawyer caused much discontent among the KSU workers. He asked whether the division committee was addressing the issue of lawyers and what role they played in that. To protest against this, Aloysius posted a message on Facebook and tried to meet the chief minister personally to express his displeasure. But the meeting was not allowed.
