In separate messages, Modi said that while the government works to create a ‘Vikshit Bharat’, the country’s doctors will continue to play a key role in promoting preventive healthcare, promoting medical research, driving innovation and ensuring affordable healthcare for all.
The Prime Minister said that as the country moves towards becoming a developed nation, the efforts of the central government are helping to create an environment where businesses can flourish and opportunities can increase for all.

“On Doctors’ Day, I salute our dedicated doctors, whose hard work, compassion and dedication form the backbone of India’s healthcare system. Their tireless efforts, often in the most difficult circumstances, have earned the trust and gratitude of countless people,” Modi wrote in his post on X.
The Prime Minister said India has made significant strides in strengthening its healthcare ecosystem over the last decade.
The number of medical colleges has more than doubled and the number of undergraduate and postgraduate medical seats has increased substantially, he said.
“This unprecedented growth creates more opportunities for aspiring doctors, creates a stronger healthcare workforce and ensures that quality healthcare reaches every corner of the country,” Modi said.
Conveying his greetings to the entire Central Asian brotherhood, Modi said that they have long been reliable partners on India’s economic journey.
He said that through their commitment to transparency and professional excellence, CAs strengthen the country’s financial systems, support businesses, encourage entrepreneurship and instill confidence in investors.
