New XEV 9e Cineluxe Satin Desert
Mahindra has expanded the color palette of its flagship XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition with the introduction of a new Satin Desert Myst exterior trim. The new paint option joins the existing Satin Black and Satin White colors that were released back in March 2026.

Since its launch on March 1, 2026, XEV 9e Cineluxe has become the preferred choice among celebrities, TV personalities, entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives, Mahindra said. With the addition of Satin Desert Myst, the company is offering customers yet another exclusive trim to complement the premium positioning of the SUV.

The new exterior color is paired with the signature smooth Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black synthetic leather interior, maintaining the same luxurious interior theme introduced earlier this year. The company says the new shade is aimed at buyers who want a more distinctive and sophisticated look while maintaining the luxury-oriented character of the Cineluxe Edition.
Based on the third best features package
Mahindra has not announced any mechanical or functional changes related to the new color. The price also remains unchanged at Rs 29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). As before, the XEV 9e Cineluxe is still based on the fully loaded Pack Three variant. It is powered by a 79 kWh battery that provides a range of more than 500 km while maintaining the full list of equipment available in the flagship trim.

The SUV continues to offer Mahindra’s immersive cabin experience, powered by a triple HD display, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, Infinity roof and customizable ambient lighting. Other premium features include StraightAhead VisionX augmented reality head-up display, EyeDentity driver and passenger monitoring, HandsFree Parking Assist, Secure360, Digital Key, personalized user profiles and dedicated Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC modes.
Strengthening the range of premium electric vehicles
Instead of introducing a new variant, Mahindra has updated the Cineluxe Edition with an additional exclusive color option to keep the flagship XEV 9e relevant in the market. The Satin Desert Myst finish is expected to appeal to buyers who want a more understated yet premium look compared to the existing Satin Black and Satin White options.

As the XEV 9e and BE 6 continue to record strong sales in the premium electric SUV segment, Mahindra is gradually expanding the appeal of its Electric Origin range with limited editions and exclusive styling updates. The addition of the Satin Desert Myst further strengthens the Cineluxe Edition’s positioning as the brand’s most luxurious electric SUV.
