Josephine Scholl shares unusually personal thoughts in a new TV documentary. One experience from her childhood still bothers the 18-year-old.

As the daughter of a famous former footballer, Josephine Scholl grew up with a famous name. In the new long-running documentary Born Famous – Curse or Blessing? Now the 18-year-old is talking about how she survived the separation of her parents Jessica and Mehmet Scholl.

“My sister and I felt incredibly bad when our parents separated,” Josephine Scholl told Gala magazine. Her parents never quarreled in front of their children. That is why it was difficult for the daughters to understand this decision.

“It seemed to come out of nowhere. We just didn’t understand it as children,” Scholl recalled. During this time, she was supported by her sister Polly, who was about two years older. Jessica and Mehmet Scholl got married in 2007 and announced the end of their marriage in early 2017.

Josephine Scholl wants to make a name for herself

Josephine Scholl deliberately avoids using her famous surname on social networks. Under the names “hiddenjosie” and “josie.sll” she publishes articles about fashion and her daily life. She currently has over 200,000 followers on TikTok. She is still in school and is interested in a modeling career.

The 18-year-old lives with McCune-Albright syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that, among other things, weakens bones. In early 2026, she publicly stated that it caused her pain every day. She had to give up her previous hobby – gymnastics. Social networks then initially became a creative hobby for her.

Her boyfriend is also no stranger to Munich football: Scholl is dating Bayern professional Tom Bischof. He and her father had good chemistry, she said. The two shared their enthusiasm for football and had a similar sense of humor. “These two love each other,” she concluded recently.

Father Mehmet Scholl shaped the Bavarian era

Mehmet Scholl played for Bayern for 15 years. The midfielder scored 117 goals in 469 matches. With the Munich team he won, among other things, eight German championships, the German Cup five times, the UEFA Cup in 1996 and the Champions League in 2001.
