“An illness that can be serious”
As authorities note, “listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks.” Common symptoms are fever, isolated or accompanied by headache and body aches. If you experience these symptoms and have eaten cured ham, contact your doctor and report your consumption.
In addition, severe forms can sometimes occur in pregnant women. Therefore, they should be especially alert to these symptoms, as should people with weakened immune systems and the elderly. For all these reasons, it is strongly recommended not to consume this product. Customers are encouraged to return it to the point of sale for a refund.
