Jiri Legecka vs Alexander Zverev Prediction, Wimbledon fourth round odds

French Open winner Alexander Zverev is looking for a second successive Grand Slam title as he progresses into the fourth round of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

Zverev’s Wimbledon journey began with a tough match against Alexandre Bloxx, as he played four sets and three tiebreakers to advance to the second round. The German dominated from then on, eliminating Marcos Giron in straight sets in the third round to advance.

He will face 13th-ranked Jiri Legecka on Monday with a trip to the quarterfinals in line. Lehecka lost just one set at Wimbledon in 2026 and beat Zverev once in his career.

The two haven’t faced each other since 2023, but bookmakers have the French Open winner as a pretty significant favorite on Monday.

Let’s look at the odds, each player’s history at Wimbledon and my prediction for this fourth round match.

Jiri Legecka vs. Alexander Zverev. History and performance at Wimbledon.

Jiri Legecka

Lehecka reached the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2023 and is a quarterfinalist at the US Open in 2025. However, 2026 was a tough year for him at the Grand Slams as he lost in the first round of the Australian Open and French Open.

Lehecka is 1-1 against Zverev in his career and his victory will come in 2023 at the United Cup.

Alexander Zverev

Zverev competed at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in 2025, losing in the first round to Arthur Rinderknech. However, he bounced back well in 2026, losing only one of the 10 sets he played.

Before his retirement in 2025, he had made at least the third round of his last three starts at Wimbledon.

Zverev beat Lehecka in their last meeting (in 2023 in Dubai), but there is no recent history between them. The No. 2 ranked player is hoping to start 2026 strong after winning the French Open and becoming a semi-finalist at the Australian Open.

Jiri Legecka vs Alexander Zverev Prediction and selection

Zverev has only lost one set at Wimbledon in 2026, so it makes sense to bet on him winning this match in straight sets.

However, Lehecka has won three of the five sets between these two in his career, so I think there is a chance he will win at least one set in this match.

So I’m taking Zverev to cover the set spread (-1.5), meaning this bet will win if he wins 3-1 or 3-0 on Monday.

The French Open champion has been a solid 48-24 on grass in his career, while Lehecka is 11-25 against top-10 players and 15-10 on grass in his career.

Lehecka is playing much better at Wimbledon than he was at his first two Grand Slams in 2026, but I can’t outshine Zverev on his current form. I believe this is the “safest” way to bet on Monday’s runner-up.

Pick: Zverev -1.5 sets (-165 on DraftKings)
