Former Real Madrid and Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas shared his expectations from the Red Fury’s match with the French national team in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup. The game will take place on July 14 at the A&T Stadium (Arlington, Texas, USA). The referee’s starting whistle will sound at 22:00 Moscow time.
“I got the impression that the national teams of Spain and France at this World Cup have so far played at 70% of their capabilities. Everything will be different on Tuesday! What a match awaits us!” — Casillas said in a post on the social network X.
The current world champion is the Argentina national team. In the final of this 2022 tournament, the Argentine national team faced France. The main time of the game ended with the score 3:3, but in the penalty shootout the Argentina team turned out to be stronger (4:2).
