Liam Neeson growls as he returns to familiar territory with a line built for trailers: “I may deceive you, but I will never lie to you.” That’s the hook in Guy Moshe’s July 21 book “The Fix,” which teases a squad of broken CIA operatives back in action after an Afghan mission went wrong. Their next job takes them to Tehran, where Neeson’s mentor Larry and Tucker Zachary Levi are trying to orchestrate one clean rescue from the rubble. Early look critics have already picked 13 Hours and Sicario as benchmarks, and with a September 11 release date set, the timing alone suggests this film is looking to hit hard.
