For more than 72 hours, their loved ones waited for signs of life. Brian Brigou, 29, disappeared this Saturday, June 27, along with his five-year-old son Timeo, according to the Child Focus platform and the Belgian Federal Police. The father and child were last seen in Onhaie, a town in the province of Namur, located about fifty kilometers from the border with France.
They had to travel to Charleroi to make the purchase on Saturday morning, and the purchase was indeed made, as Brian confirmed to Tina, the boy’s mother, around 2 p.m. Then around 3:00 pm they went to Onhai Football Club. But by the end of the working day, Tina had no more news. “My message remained unsent,” she admitted to our Belgian colleagues from Sudinfo. The young woman, still without news, raised the alarm at night, around 3 am.
Brian’s car is found empty
Brian Brigou’s car, a Golf 6, was found empty this Sunday in Onhe in the parking lot of the city’s soccer club, the child’s grandmother said. In response, Tina organized a citizen hunt on Monday afternoon, bringing together about fifty people to try to find Timeo and his father. “I hope they are okay. I haven’t had any news for 48 hours. I haven’t slept, I can’t eat. I hope we find my son alive,” the young woman pleaded.
Brian’s brother, Simon, gave evidence to RTL Info in Belgium and was very worried about the fate of this double disappearance: “To be honest, when we see the turn the case is taking, and knowing my brother, I don’t have much hope anymore. I’m still holding on a little, but…” he blurted out, continuing to search for traces of his brother and nephew.
The little boy was wearing a blue and red cap and a white T-shirt.
Timeo is a small blond man with blue eyes, 1.10 m tall. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white T-shirt and a blue cap with a red visor. His father, on the other hand, has brown eyes, dark hair and a beard. When last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt, a black cap and a silver chain.
