Stressful situation for La Banque Postale clients. On social networks on the evening of Wednesday, July 1, many users complained that they were not being paid.
“I haven’t received my salary for 12 hours, I have to go on vacation tonight,” one wrote. “All direct debits have been processed but we are not receiving transfers, this is impossible. The problem should have been resolved this morning,” says another.
“Give me back my salary,” the client demands. Some people are worried that they will be penalized for being charged fees if they go into overdraft: “So, overdraft, since the transfers are not being completed on time, what should we do?”
“Incident affecting transfers”
On X, La Banque Postale reports that an “incident affecting incoming transfers” has been identified and guarantees that its “teams are mobilized to restore the situation as quickly as possible.”
“Unfortunately, at this stage we cannot provide a time frame for a decision,” the same source continues, apologizing for the “inconvenience caused.”
For concerned customers who have exceeded their allowed overdraft, La Banque Postale writes: “If you suspect or notice that you have suffered a loss related to this incident, we invite you to contact us so that we can detail the procedure to follow.”
According to the site Downdetector, these translation problems have been going on since at least 10am this Wednesday.
Representatives of La Banque Postale, contacted by Le Parisien on Wednesday evening, had not contacted us at the time of publication of this article.
This is not the first time the bank has suffered such an incident. In July 2025, an outage affected approximately 30,000 LCL customers over several days. Some also did not receive transfers.
