The third generation of Apple TV 4K received a technical update designed to improve its formula. Slightly smaller, fanless and even more energy efficient, Apple’s little box is still a pleasure to use with a neat, complete and super-flexible interface. If we can quibble with the lack of backlighting on the remote control buttons, then it’s clear that this is a high-end multimedia box that will undoubtedly appeal to streaming enthusiasts, whether they’re immersed in the Apple universe or not.

Like its predecessors, it offers a full streaming experience at a reasonable price with real and targeted improvements. For home theater enthusiasts, comprehensive support for the latest video and audio formats, including HD soundtracks throughwill be a strong argument that clearly distinguishes this TV Box S from competitors in this price range. Of course, not everything is perfect. Scarce RAM in 2025 remains a difficult trade-off, as does very poor connectivity. These two factors limit the pure streaming experience.
