The future has returned just in time to warm up the summer. The Atlanta rap star released his The real me album on Friday (July 10), which will be his first project since teaming up with Metro Boomin for a 2024 collaboration.

The album contains 22 tracks in total, including the previously released single “Radio”. If The real me will top the Billboard 200, marking Future’s 12th time at the summit.
Although Future kept the details of the album secret, he set the bar high for the project, calling The real me “Album of the Century” in Post X in June.
2026 continued to be a busy year for Future ahead of the album’s release. Pluto put an end to his feud with Drake when the “Life Is Good” collaborators reunited. ICEMAN“Ran to Atlanta” in Atlanta, which debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Hendricks also competed in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he competed on Team “Game Time” with Tayla. They performed the collaboration’s live debut during the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony at SoFi Stadium in June.
