Kat Timpf Announces Pregnancy with Second Child After Extraordinarily Difficult Year
Fox News commentator and stand-up comedian Kat Timpf has revealed she is expecting her second child, sharing the news with a live audience at one of her comedy performances over the weekend. The 37-year-old TV personality posted a clip on Instagram showing her spinning with her shirt partially lifted to display her growing bump, writing in the caption: “Huge thanks to the 1,500ish besties at my show this wknd for keeping my secret. So awesome to be the portal for a new little soul.”
A Year of Health Challenges and Loss
The pregnancy announcement comes after what Timpf has described as one of the hardest years of her life. In February 2025, she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), commonly referred to as stage zero breast cancer — a condition in which abnormal cells are confined to the milk ducts and have not yet invaded surrounding breast tissue, according to the Mayo Clinic. Remarkably, she went into labor just 15 hours after the diagnosis and gave birth to a son whose name has remained private.
Timpf underwent a double mastectomy in March 2025 and was declared cancer-free the following month. In July 2025, she had breast reconstruction surgery and later visited a Maryland-based artist who specializes in 3D nipple tattoos, a procedure increasingly chosen by mastectomy patients to restore the appearance of the areola.
Compounding the heartbreak, Timpf’s father, Daniel Timpf, died unexpectedly on May 7 at the age of 69 — just two months after her son’s first birthday. “My dad helped me through the whole thing. Then, two months after my son’s first birthday, my dad just dropped dead, so it’s been really hard,” she wrote in an Instagram post in June.
Family Life and Support System
Timpf lives in Manhattan with her husband, Cameron Friscia, a former Army Ranger who served in Afghanistan and most recently worked as an investment banker. The couple also share at least three pets: a cat named Cheens, a dog named Carl, and a one-eyed rescue cat named Juan.
The pair met on Raya, an exclusive membership-only dating app for celebrities and public figures. They announced their engagement in August 2020 and married in a small ceremony in May 2021. When joking about the pregnancy surprise, Timpf quipped: “I shouldn’t have been though, ’cause I’m married to a veteran and the army always does seem to take a while to pull out of something.”
Career and Public Profile
Timpf is a regular commentator on Fox News’ late-night show “Gutfeld!”, hosted by Greg Gutfeld, and frequently appears on “Fox & Friends” and “The Five.” She previously co-hosted the Fox News podcast “Tyrus and Timpf” with professional wrestler Tyrus. Early in her career, she worked for The Washington Times. The Detroit native is a graduate of Hillsdale College.
Timpf has been open about her struggles on social media, writing in June that she’s “been going through a lot.” Her willingness to discuss both her cancer journey and her father’s death has resonated with many followers, who praised her resilience and candor.
“So, everyone knows I’ve had a really rough year last year – diagnosed with breast cancer, 15 hours later went into labor, gave birth to my son, had a double mastectomy. My dad helped me through the whole thing.” — Kat Timpf
As of the latest public update, Timpf has not disclosed an expected due date. Her pregnancy announcement was met with an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues alike, marking a hopeful note after a year defined by profound personal challenges.
