The 26-year-old Russian, who fights out of Dubai, has won all six of his victories by stoppage, including a win over UFC graduate Caio Machado in March, and has yet to see a third round. Nurullo Aliyev vs Mike Davis
Undefeated prospect Nurullo Aliyev and American veteran Mike Davis will meet in an exciting lightweight bout early Saturday night.
Aliev has only had three starts since his impressive performance in Dana White’s Season 6 Contender Series, winning them all but losing much of the momentum he gained right out of the gate. Davis went 5-1 as a lightweight in the UFC, earning three wins, a fight of the night bonus with Mason Jones and losing only to French standout Fares Ziam.
Cody Gibson vs Abdul Hussein
Veteran Cody Gibson welcomes Abdul Hussein to the UFC for the opening bout this weekend at the Etihad Arena.
Gibson, 38, is a fighter who is 2-3 in his five starts after losing the TUF finale to Brad Cato at UFC 292 to earn Fight of the Night honors. Hussein is 15-2 overall and on an eight-fight winning streak, most recently defeating old friend Tyson Nam on Boxing Day.
