Fans criticize ‘Nepo Baby’ Sunday Rose over her modeling career
As Sunday confidently walked down the runway, social media users were quick to appreciate everything from her walk and facial expressions to the opportunities she has received as the daughter of two Hollywood stars.
“This is not model material,” one person commented on Instagram.
Another wrote: “If she wasn’t Nicole’s daughter there’s no way she would have ended up there.”
“It must have been very difficult for her to get there. Of course, this took years of effort and hundreds of listens,” another user joked.
Others criticized what they saw as celebrity privilege.
“The expression on the runway looks like she is constantly waiting for a delayed flight. Without the famous surname, the casting directors would have passed by. The hardest working pattern here is nepotism,” one commenter wrote.
Another added: “Another nepo baby.”
“I can’t walk. This is incredible, the kid is at the top of his game,” someone else commented.
“We don’t need more mediocre looking non-pop models,” wrote another. Some also questioned whether the spotlight was fair to the teenager.
“It’s kind of awkward. What is Nicole thinking? The poor child will be ridiculed. Not a healthy choice,” one user commented.
“Nowadays they invite anyone to these shows. She’s not Cindy Crawford or Naomi Campbell,” another added.
Others noted that Sunday “always looks miserable” on the runway.

Sunday Rose develops close relationship with Dior
Despite the criticism, Sunday developed an impressive relationship with Dior in a short period of time. She has walked in several presentations for the luxury fashion house, including the Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show in Paris and the Dior Cruise 2027 collection at LACMA in Los Angeles.
In addition to the runway, she has also appeared in Dior advertising campaigns and made her Met Gala debut with her mother in 2026 wearing a custom Dior dress and Dior Beauty products for the event. She also developed a close professional relationship with Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson.
While her modeling resume continues to grow with stints at brands like Miu Miu, Calvin Klein and Khaite, she said her long-term goal is to study filmmaking and eventually work behind the camera.
