In the first half of 2026, the Eurojackpot lottery has made a total of 45 millionaire tipsters. In addition, 378 game participants received winnings ranging from 100,000 to 999,999 euros.

Eurojackpot: balance for the first half of 2026 in Europe

Six months full of great moments: in the first six months of 2026, Eurojackpot added 45 new millionaires (prize classes 1 and 2). The biggest win went to the Czech Republic on May 26 – 120 million euros, which is also the maximum possible winning amount in Eurojackpot. Four jackpots were won in Germany: two went to North Rhine-Westphalia (€87.2 million on June 26 and €70.7 million on March 31), €74.8 million went to Baden-Württemberg (February 27) and €53.7 million to Saarland (January 23). The remaining winnings, ranging from 74.1 million to five million euros, went to Finland (3 times), Slovenia, Denmark and Slovakia.

Germany is in the lead: in the overall balance of million-dollar winnings, the Federal Republic was at the top in the first half of the year – 26 of the 45 million winnings were won in this country.

In addition to the 45 millionaires, Eurojackpot primarily delivered a large number of six-figure winnings in participating European countries in the first two quarters. 378 participants in the game won amounts from 100,000 to 999,999 euros. In the first half of the year, a total of approximately 1.2 billion euros was distributed across all prize categories.

  • €5 million – Finland (7 April)
  • €5 million – Slovakia (7 April)

Impressive winnings

Since the first draw in March 2012, an impressive amount of approximately €19.1 billion has been collected, along with approximately 675.3 million prizes across all twelve prize categories. Eurojackpot has currently produced 703 millionaires with winnings ranging from nine to seven figures. 393 of them (about 56 percent) came from Germany. To date, eight tipsters have won the maximum amount of €120 million. In addition to the four lucky winners from Germany, this winning amount was paid out twice in Denmark (2022 and 2024), once in Norway (2024) and once in the Czech Republic (May 2026).
