Dylan Timber, Jurrien and Quinten’s older brother, made the transfer. The defender moves from VVV Venlo to VVV Maastricht in the Kitchen Champions division on a free transfer.
26-year-old Timber played in the Feyenoord youth team, but then ended up in amateur football. He eventually made it to professional football through Houten, Kampong and Sparta Nijkerk. Timber moved to VVV Venlo via Jong Utrecht. Last season he played only three games for this club. The Limburgers did not renew Timber’s contract, and therefore he is leaving for MVV on a free transfer.
Timber is a year older than Quinten and Jurrien Timber, 25. They both should be active at the World Cup. However, only Quinten remained in the team, as Jurrien was forced to leave the field due to injury. Dylan Timber played one international match for Curacao in 2022. Dick Advocaat did not call up the defender, who played three games at the tournament in the United States, for World Cup selection.
