EXCLUSIVE: Fresh off receiving two Emmy nominations this year, we’ve learned that Colman Domingo is looking to co-create an original live-action Princess Tiana film inspired by the 2009 Disney animated film. The Princess and the Frog. We understand that the two-time Oscar nominee will co-write the film alongside the 2020 Tony nominee, according to sources. Slave game directed by Robert O’Hara. The Princess and the Frog was Disney’s last hand-drawn animated film, released in 2009 by directors John Musker and Ron Clements. Set in 1920s New Orleans, based on the novel by E.D. Baker.
