Last Tuesday, thousands of people gathered in Sabadell see Spain win the World Cup semi-final against France. Meanwhile, Barcelona refused to install a big screen and postponed the decision of the match in which the world champion would be determined.
The case of the city of Barcelona, as in the Basque Country, is another of the many city councils that are largely intimidated separatists– pushed the population to gather in bars, clubs or in private to see Spain rise to at least one of the top two teams.
However, there are many others who were not intimidated by the independence discourse and chose to fill the streets with the colors of Spain. An example of Catalonia were Tarragona, Castelldefels, Badalona, Sabadell, Santa Coloma de Gramanet or Mataro.

There are many municipalities Barcelona th Tarragona where your neighbors can gather to watch the Spanish national team. To a lesser extent, in Lleida th Girona. However, in the latter case, it is the only provincial capital governed by the CUP, Junts and ERC that will not broadcast the World Cup final.
