The first clear look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom mask has emerged, thanks to some concept art released by the Marvel Cinematic Universe icon.
Former Marvel visual director Andy Park took to X on July 11 to share artwork from the upcoming blockbuster.
“Avengers: Judgment Day is the last feature film I have the honor of helming as Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios,” he wrote on social media. “This illustration recalls this journey and reveals the characters and their appearance for the first time. #AvengersDoomsday.”
See the image below, which also features first looks at some of the returning X-Men, such as Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), who were also not seen in the promotional materials. There is also a mysterious image of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in the center of the picture.

Park was part of Disney’s layoffs in April, and he also announced his departure at X, writing: “Marvel Studios Visual Development: 2010-2026. The end of an era. I was there at the beginning of the team that broke the mold. 16 years, 40+ films and 15 films under a visual development director, I couldn’t be more proud of the story we’ve created.”
Doomsday looks set to be Marvel’s biggest movie yet, with a massive cast of superheroes including series leads Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright and many others.
