Is this Gwyneth Paltrow in 2001? No, it’s her daughter. Making her feature film debut, Apple Martin is following in her mother’s footsteps – and it’s giving us a serious case of déjà vu.
Filmed on set for Paris ParamountIn the upcoming Nancy Meyers film, set to hit theaters in December 2027, the 22-year-old star was seen wearing a peach cardigan and long blue jeans, with her blonde hair pulled back into a low ponytail. And despite the fact that this was her first big acting job, she looked completely at home in front of the camera – just like her mother would look.

What made the comparison to her mom even more striking was the fact that Martin was joined by actor Owen Wilson, who starred opposite Paltrow in the Wes Anderson film. Royal Tenenbaums 25 years ago. (It was there that the Goop founder met Wilson’s brother, Luke, whom she briefly dated right before meeting her ex-husband Chris Martin.)

Although we don’t have much information yet about Paris ParamountIn addition to Martin and Wilson, we know that the cast will include Penelope Cruz, Kieran Culkin, Jude Law, Erin Doherty, Tony Hale and Beverly D’Angelo. Myers herself kept her mouth shut, although she gave brief plot synopsis describing the project as “a film about a group of people making a film and the magic and mystery of what we do.”
In addition to acting, Martin dabbled in a variety of creative endeavors—starring in ad campaigns for GapStudio and Chloé, singing in front of crowds in Nashville—all while completing her studies at Vanderbilt University. Now she has completed her studies, the world has become her oyster.
