Legally Blonde star Amber Davis says she asked to be kicked out of a front-row audience member who was filming the show.
The former Love Islander posted the video to her Instagram Stories during the break of Saturday’s show at the Bord Gáis Energy Theater in Dublin.
“We have a great audience, but there’s only one woman in the front row who was filming the entire first act, it distracted us all,” she said, adding that she asked the staff to remove the woman in the second act.
Production company Royo told BBC Newsbeat it did not wish to comment further on Davies’ post.
Davis won the third series of ITV’s Love Island in 2017 and has since built a career in acting and musical theatre.
She currently plays the title character Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, which is touring the UK and Ireland.
Davis was still in costume, her stage microphone still in place, as she recorded her Insta post, which she called “your daily reminder not to do the theater.”
She said the audience member had broken the rules and “destroyed the morale of our wonderful eighth show on Saturday night through selfish actions.”
