The Airbeat One exhibition in Neustadt-Glewe ended with a record number of visitors. According to the organizers, the electronic festival was celebrated by 210 thousand people. The motto for 2027 has already been determined.
After four days, the Airbeat One festival at the Neustadt-Glewe airfield (Ludwigslust-Parchim district) came to an end on Sunday evening. According to organizers, some 210,000 visitors came, more than ever before. This year the festival was dedicated to the Netherlands.
Record number of visitors to the electronic festival
According to the organizer, guests from more than 60 countries came to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Around 350 DJs and artists performed on multiple stages for a total of over 465 hours of electronic music. Among the most famous performers were Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Lilli Palmer, Boris Brejcha and Scooter. The finale was a fireworks display on Sunday evening and the last performance on the main stage until the early hours of the morning.
The Netherlands dominated the festival stage
Of course, a windmill could not be missing from the motto of the Netherlands.
In accordance with the motto “Welcome to the Netherlands – home of electronic music!” the area was carefully designed. The main stage, about 180 meters wide and 45 meters high, in the shape of a huge windmill, attracted attention. Another stage was designed in the form of a huge lion’s head, based on the coat of arms of the county of Holland. According to the organizers, the weather was ideal throughout the festival.
2027 Anniversary with an Australian theme
The tagline for the next edition has already been set: in 2027, everything about Airbeat One will revolve around Australia. The festival will take place from July 7 to 11 and is also celebrating its 25th anniversary. The process is also new: the official festival program will begin on Wednesday. So far, only the program for vacationers has started on this day.
Residents of nearby cities are allowed to enter the festival grounds free of charge. The place of residence indicated on the identity card is important.
The Airbeat One festival is the main event of the summer. The earth is shaking, dance fans cannot be stopped.
