ACC Huddle Kicks Off College Football Season Across the Coast
The ACC Network’s signature football studio show, ACC Huddle, is set to travel coast‑to‑coast for Week 1 of the college football season, originating live from three ACC campuses in four days over Labor Day Weekend. The show will broadcast from Stanford, then Cal, and finally Florida State, delivering fans an up‑close look at the sights, sounds and traditions that make ACC football unique.
Three‑Stop Tour Dates and Locations
The ACC Huddle team—host Taylor Tannebaum alongside analysts Jimbo Fisher, Eric Mac Lain and Eddie Royal—will begin on Friday at Stanford Stadium, move north to Memorial Glade on the Berkeley campus on Saturday, and conclude on Monday at Heritage Fountain on Florida State’s campus. Each stop will feature a two‑hour live show, with additional pregame, halftime and postgame coverage throughout the weekend.
Star‑Studded Guest Appearances
Friday’s broadcast will welcome legendary Stanford quarterback and current GM Andrew Luck, ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D., and Bay Area rap icon E‑40. On Saturday, Cal GM Ron Rivera will join the set, while Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm will appear ahead of the Cardinals’ Top 25 matchup vs. Ole Miss. Monday’s show will feature an on‑field interview with Florida State head coach Mike Norvell, and ESPN analyst and former Huddle analyst EJ Manuel will provide pregame analysis inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
Feature Stories to Watch
The crew will spotlight two compelling narratives. First, Cal quarterback Jaron‑Keawe Sagapolutele, who trained alongside Tua Tagovailoa and Jayden Maiava, is poised to become the next great quarterback from the Pacific Islands. Second, freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard of Florida State, who survived a shooting in his hometown, is set to make his collegiate debut, symbolizing resilience and determination.
