News of the tragic incident was reported from Mangaluru, Karnataka. A huge tree fell on a moving school bus in Kaletti Bantwal Taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. As a result of the accident, a six-year-old schoolboy was killed and four other students were seriously injured. The deceased girl was identified as six-year-old Chiranvi. She was a UKG student at Kalladka Shri Ram Vidyakendra School.

According to information, the 24-passenger school bus was supposed to take children home from school. The bus had just dropped off the children in Kaletti area when a huge tree standing on the roadside near Sri Kanalthaya Devasthan suddenly uprooted and fell on the moving bus.

Panic caused by tree falling on moving bus

The bus was badly damaged due to a falling tree, and chaos reigned among the children traveling on it. Immediately after the accident, the injured students were taken to a nearby hospital. Chiranvi suffered serious injuries. Doctors tried to save him, but he died during treatment. Family members of the deceased student are in serious condition and crying.

The accident left four other students seriously injured. He is being treated in hospital. After receiving information about the incident, concerned officials rushed to the spot. An investigation has been launched to determine the causes of the incident.
