After 2 consecutive falls, the price of gold on the country’s market has increased. This time the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price by TRY 2 thousand 216 in Bhari.
Bayus announced this in a circular on Friday (July 10) morning. The new price will be effective today from 10 am.
According to the notice, the price of pure gold has increased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold, including VAT, was fixed taking into account the general situation.
As per the new prices, the price of 22 carat gold per bari (11.664 grams) including VAT in the domestic market will be 2 lakh 24 thousand 182 tenge. Moreover, the price of gold is fixed at 2 lakh 14 thousand 93 tenge for 21 carat, 1 lakh 83 883 tenge for 18 carat and 1 lakh 50 thousand 232 tenge for traditional method.
These prices will remain in effect at all jewelry locations until further notice, Bayus said. However, wages are applied based on the design of the jewelry. Since VAT is added to the sale price of gold and silver jewellery, VAT cannot be charged separately to the buyers. In addition, the previous Bajus rules will remain in effect for the exchange and purchase of jewelry, with the exception of special VAT, wages and stones.
Earlier, on July 9 last year, Bajus reduced the price of 22-karat gold including VAT by Rs 3,324 to Rs 221,966.
This year, the price of gold on the country’s market has been adjusted 89 times. The price was increased by 44 points, reduced by 44 points, and VAT was adjusted by 1 point.
