Berlin – The warmth is slowly returning! Germany is in for a sunny summer weekend. Holidaymakers and holiday children can rejoice: all but Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia now have no school. It’s good that the most popular tourist regions have the best weather for swimming.
“Due to the large amount of sunshine throughout the country, temperatures reach 27–36 degrees,” says meteorologist Tore Hansen from the German Weather Service (DWD). The only thing that makes it a little cooler is the wind on the coasts. But blue skies can be seen almost everywhere.

Good weather on the Baltic Sea
As DWD explained, the influence of high pressure is already increasing on Friday, which means that the sun will come out more often in the north. “The temperature there ranges from 23 to 28 degrees,” explained meteorologist Hansen.

In Rostock, for example, on Saturday the thermometer will rise to 23 degrees. Ostsee in Greifswald up to 24 degrees and in Warnemünde up to 23 degrees. On the island of Fehmarn it will be 24 degrees, on Cape Arkona on Rügen it will be a little cooler – up to 22 degrees.

Tropical nights in the southwest
