Activision abandoned Call of Duty: Black Ops and its sequel Black Ops 2; they are available right now at PS Store for PS5 and PS4.
They both cost £34.99/$39.99 each, but PS Plus members can get them with a 50% discount until August 6, 2026.
These are direct ports of two FPS games, and the PS Store descriptions describe them as “original” developments – you won’t get any kind of remaster here. “Experience the original Call of Duty®: Black Ops, first released in 2010 and now available for the first time on PS4 and PS5.”
For clarification, this is the full content of the base game: single player campaign, multiplayer and Zombies mode.
Plus, these are just the base games, which means you won’t get any DLC packs with your purchase. A new Season Pass is now available, including all expansions for every game, again at a discount for PS Plus subscribers.
Black Ops and Black Ops 2 season passes cost £25.99/$29.99, but PS Plus members get a 67% discount, bringing prices down to £8.57/$9.89.
