A video showing a 1st AC railway compartment converted into what looks like a wedding suite has gone viral on social media. Decorated with flowers, balloons, rose petals and garlands, the coupe was nicknamed the “Suhagrat Express” and the unusual setup prompted both praise and questions over whether it had official permission.

According to media reports, the viral clip was originally posted on Instagram by Jalna-based event decoration service provider Rahat Room Decoration. Although the original post is no longer available, the video was widely shared on social media.The video starts from the platform and then moves into the carriage. He then walks down a normal corridor and reaches a compartment decorated differently from the others. The entrance features a pink beaded curtain with heart-shaped cutouts that immediately makes the compartment stand out.
Inside the decorated 1st AC coupe
The ceiling is decorated with red and white balloons, and the floor is lined with red rose petals. Bouquets and garlands of roses, marigolds and tuberose are placed around the compartment and near the windows.The bottom bunk was neatly covered with white sheets and decorated with a heart-shaped design made from red and white flower petals. There are also rose petals scattered around the bed. The folded top shelf features cutouts that read “I love you” and small garlands complete the decoration.

As the video went viral on social media platforms, users reacted to it with varying opinions. While some appreciated the concept, others focused on whether the decoration received the necessary approval.One person wrote: “I don’t know if this is legal but it’s a good idea to attract couples and make some money by selling these buses/coupes at a good price to help the railways make a profit.
