The second T20 match between India and England took place last Saturday (July 4), in which 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his debut. Vaibhav became the youngest player to make his debut for India. But in the same match, India’s young batsman Tilak Verma set the record for the youngest age, leaving behind veteran batsmen like Virat Kohli, Abhishek Sharma, K.L. Rahul and Rohit Sharma.

In fact, Tilak became the youngest Indian batsman to reach the 1500 T20 International run mark. It should be noted that Abhishek Sharma set this record on his behalf in the first T20, which went inconclusive due to rain. In the first match, Abhishek became the youngest Indian batsman to complete 1500 T20 International runs at his youngest age (25 years 300 days).

Tilak put his name on this plate in the second match of the series. Tilak became the first player to score 1,500 T20 International runs for India at the age of 23 years and 238 days. Tilak did a great job playing only 24 innings in the match.
