Wakefield Trinity has named its 21-man squad ahead of Magic WKND!
The highlight of the Super League summer will take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time and more than 80,000 fans are expected to flock to Liverpool’s docklands for six games of exciting Rugby League over one incredible weekend.
Sunday starts with Treen as we see the Wildcats return for one game only with our 2008 throwback special!
Old rivals Castleford Tigers will be the opponents on Sunday 5th July (KO: 12.30pm) and the WF10 boys will be looking for revenge after their 34-0 thrashing at OneBore Stadium earlier in the year.
Oliver Pratt and Jake Trueman scored doubles on the day as Trinity regained the Adam Wathen Trophy.
Daryl Powell made three changes to his 21-man squad, returning three first-team regulars.
Fans will be delighted to see Lachlan Walmsley back in action for the first time since the second round following knee surgery. The flying winger returned to the reserve team and now returns straight to Powell’s squad.
Matty Stourton returns from a groin injury and Jayden Myers has shaken off a shoulder problem to return to the 21-man squad.
Charlie Abraham, Cian McGann and Jordan Williams are the players to make way.
