ABC News Special: Disney Celebrates America: The Search for Happiness

On Disney+ June 30. Disney Celebrates America: The Search for Happiness the two-hour special highlights America’s greatest stories, triumphs and traditions. The special uses Disney Parks and Attractions as a gateway to American history, moving from the turn-of-the-century nostalgia of Main Street, U.S.A. to the forward-looking energy of Tomorrowland. Hosted by 20/20 co-host Deborah Roberts from Walt Disney World Resort and national correspondent Will Reeve from Disneyland.

Multi-platform broadcast of the Fourth of July weekend

The celebration will culminate with the Fourth of July weekend with 24/7 multi-platform coverage as part of Disney Celebrates America. The event celebrates the sesquicentennial across the country, and viewers can tune in to ABC News streaming on Disney+. Led by World News Tonight host David Muir, the broadcast will take viewers in all 50 states with live celebrations, compelling storytelling, performances and reporting that honor America’s past, present and future.

Within Wonders of America The National Geographic and ABC News broadcast segment will highlight the recently announced “Seven Natural Wonders of America,” a list highlighting spectacular sites across the country that epitomize the beauty of the United States.

The first miracle discovered was the volcanoes in Hawaiiand six more locations were revealed during the Fourth of July broadcast thanks to on-the-ground reporting from ABC News talent and conversations with National Geographic Explorers.
