Real Madrid will not sign Enzo Fernandez. The White Club announced this in an official statement, which is a response to the statements of its representative Javier Pastore, in which he stated that “Madrid likes Enzo and Enzo likes Madrid.” The words did not please the white club, which issued a statement refusing to negotiate with the player.
“Given the information and statements that have emerged in recent days regarding the alleged interest of Real Madrid Football Club in the player Enzo Fernandez, the club wishes to declare that it has not taken any action, direct or indirect, aimed at recruiting the aforementioned player, nor does it intend to undertake the said operation.
Real Madrid wishes to express its deepest respect to Enzo Fernandez, a great footballer whose career and quality are well known, and to Chelsea, a club with which he enjoys excellent institutional relations.
It is precisely because of the respect that an organization such as Chelsea deserves, and because of the principles of institutional loyalty that have always guided Real Madrid’s actions, that the club considers it necessary to categorically reject speculation that is unfounded and untrue.
“Real Madrid regrets that, despite the clarity of the facts and the absence of any action on the part of the club, information continues to be disseminated that is not true and which only contributes to confusion among fans and causes undue harm to the organizations and people involved.”
In statements to MARCA, Enzo Fernandez’s agent opens Chelsea’s exit door and looks at Real Madrid.
On Mourinho’s list
Enzo Fernandez, According to MARCA, he was one of the midfield players included in Jose Mourinho’s list of plans to include a centre-back and another midfielder in his team. Chelsea’s Argentine and Mateus Fernandes were the preferred options, but neither will end up at the white club. The first was expelled from Madrid and the second moved to Tottenham. Both operations cost approximately 100 million euros.
