New season Jamel Comedy Club is starting! In honor of the show’s 20th anniversary, which has become a springboard for new talent, Jamel Debbouze opened the show with an emotionally charged episode. The presenter wanted to pay tribute to the memory of two historical figures in the program. Among them is Boon Hei Min, who tragically died on July 10, 2025 due to an accidental fall.

I think about Boon Hai Min. I think about Wahid Bouzidi,” he said, emotional.

Around him, veterans such as Jal, Dulli, Fadili Camara, Amel Shahbi, Nash and Ilyes Jadel, as well as the new generation represented by Alexandra Roth, Basil and Lotfi Abdelli, joined the audience to a standing ovation. Djamel concluded this tribute not with silence, but with a moment of memorable “mess.”

Between explosions of confetti and leaps of joy, the troupe celebrated life and humor true to the spirit of these two artists. “Thank you for them,” said one who had seen them develop and would forever be marked by their friendship.

“This year it has a special flavor because we are celebrating the 20th anniversary Jamel Comedy Club20 years to make you laugh,” admits Jamel Debbouze, creator of the show in 2006. For this occasion, the program focuses on the transfer.
