T20 match India – Ireland: The tour to Ireland turned out to be a nightmare for the Indian cricket team. After losing the first T20 match by 34 runs, India suffered a humiliating defeat in the second match as well. With a target of 155 runs to win, the Indian team could only score 153 runs in 20 overs. Team India also lost this T20 series for the second devastating loss in a row, which comes as a huge shock to Indian cricket.

Ireland batting: Harry Tector’s brilliant half-century
Having won the toss and batting first, Ireland got off to a strong start. Harry Tector scored 53 runs off 47 balls, including 5 fours and 1 six. Ben Kalitz scored a quick 37 off 23 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes. Ross Adair scored 16 runs off 7 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes. Lorcan Tucker scored 15 runs off 18 balls with two fours and George Dockrel scored 19 runs off 14 balls with 1 four and 1 six. While Tim Tector scored 5 runs off 6 balls with 1 four. Liam McCarthy was unbeaten for 2 runs and Jay Mundra was unbeaten for 1, taking the team’s score to 154 for 8 in 20 overs.

India bowling: Three wickets from Prince Yadav
Indian bowlers tried their best to get back into the game. In which Prince Yadav was the most successful bowler, taking 3 important wickets for just 22 runs in 4 overs. Shivam Dubey also played well and took 2 wickets for 25 runs in 3 overs. Arshdeep Singh scored 35 runs in 4 overs and achieved 2 hits. Harshit Rana took 1 wicket for 17 runs in 3 overs while bowling economically. However, Suryansh Shedge gave 25 runs in 2 overs and Akshar Patel gave 28 runs in 4 overs, but these two bowlers could not get a single wicket.

Indian batting: Top has failed, Tilak Verma’s fight is over
Chasing 155 points, India’s squad crumbled like a house of cards. Openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma were dismissed in the first over without opening the scoring. Ishan Kishan scored 12 runs with 1 four from 11 balls while Shreyas Iyer scored 10 runs with 2 fours from 7 balls. Tilak Verma battled alone through the middle order with a 46-ball 55 with 3 fours and 1 six, but he failed to defeat the team. Shivam Dubey scored 20 off 16 balls with two fours while Akshar Patel scored 14 off 18 balls. Suryansh Shedge scored 1 point.

Bowling Ireland: Indian batsmen kneel
Ireland’s bowlers did not allow India’s experienced batsmen to remain on the field. Jai Mundra showed deadly bowling and took 3 big wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs. Supporting him, Matt Hollard took 3 wickets for 26 runs in 4 overs. Matthew Humphreys also maintained great line length and got 1 wicket for 28 runs in 4 overs. Liam McCarthy made 22 runs in 4 overs and Harry Tector made 22 runs in 3 overs.
