Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov expressed disappointment at not being included in the team’s recent 10-year reunion in Europe.

The luxury vacation, hosted by LeBron James, featured key members of the historic 2015-16 roster in multiple countries, including Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye and Tristan Thompson, with Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova later joining the group. Despite playing 13 games during that legendary playoff run, the 39-year-old Russian player was completely left out of the planning.

Speaking to Russian outlet Sport Express on Friday, the veteran center said no one from the title-winning team had texted or called him to join the summer trip. “Yes, I saw the video from that party. No one wrote or called me. If I had been invited, I would have gladly joined. Of course, I would also like to go there and drink wine,” he responded when asked if the invitation had been extended.

The exclusive European gathering also caused major drama on social media when Smith, 40, claimed Kyrie Irving had been invited to the reunion but had “ghosted” the team. Irving didn’t stoke the tension any further, instead posting a quiet thank-you picture to his Instagram featuring the entire champion squad.

Mozgov played eight seasons in the NBA, peaking as an important starting center during Cleveland’s championship window. Known for his size and interior defense, the center also played for the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets during an injury-riddled career.

This gap describes how team dynamics change a decade after achieving NBA immortality.
