Google's Gemini Spark is now available to more users

Google’s Gemini Spark, the company’s AI agent that performs tasks for you and keeps track of everything in the background, is now more widely available. However, you still can’t get it for free.

Starting today, Gemini Spark is available to users in the US who pay for the $20 per month Google Ai Pro tier. Globally, you’ll have to pay for Google AI Ultra, which starts at around $100 (depending on market).

The only exception to this rule are residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, Switzerland or Nigeria, who do not (yet) have access to Gemini Spark.

Mashable Speed of Light

Google’s support documents say you shouldn’t worry if you don’t already have access to Spark, as the company is “rapidly expanding access to more users and businesses in the coming weeks.”

Google releases two new Gemini models, but still no Gemini 3.5 Pro

Gemini Spark is based on Gemini 3.5 and, like other similar agents, is designed to run in the background. Providing a daily summary of your tasks for the day based on your calendar, documents, notes, and inbox is one example of what it can do.

Competitors offer a similar product at a similar price. OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work is only available in paid tiers, as is Anthropic’s Claude Cowork. Prices for both start at around $20 per month, although the difference is that they are available in Europe and the UK.
