How did he keep this a secret?!
It would seem that before Love Island 2026, Lorenzo Alessi had a wild life, which he was silent about. When he was first introduced to the cast this year, Lorenzo was simply described as a 28-year-old business owner from Hertfordshire. However, he actually has a lot of celebrity connections and a very colorful life that he hides.
We all know Lorenzo is charming, we’ve seen it in 4K every night, but it turns out he’s very well connected outside the villa. He has connections with many people, in high circles. And they say it’s all about who you know!
Lorenzo’s father, who came to the villa on Friends and Family day, is a former celebrity bodyguard, meaning Lorenzo is just one step away from some very big names.
His father Oz has worked with Danny Dyer, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Zayn Malik, among others. He helps train MMA fighters now, so yeah, he’s a tough guy. Oz also works as a doorman at the famous Sheesh Club, which has given him even more connections. He was once photographed at a restaurant looking friendly with Ne-Yo. Everyday.

According to The Sun, Oz is filling in for son Lorenzo behind the scenes and there is already a fight to sign him after the show. It would seem that Lorenzo saw the villa as an opportunity and whatever could be done to secure his career after the show was just that.
An insider told the publication: “Oz knows everyone and he has already spoken to agents he knows from his time at Shisha and his years as a famous bodyguard to audition them before Lorenzo leaves the villa.
“Lorenzo won’t have to just make his choice based on the agent’s suggestion because his father will already be able to tell him who he can trust. It’s a win-win situation.”
Off the show, Lorenzo is an avid party animal, but he also owns the fashion brand Palmera, which sells luxury men’s clothing. He launched the company in December 2024 with an influencer named Rob Green. They’re all about “timeless pieces” and “casual luxury,” but Palmera only has two products currently available, and both are discounted.
There’s an oversized black shirt with white piping that retails at £145, and a cream Palmera T-shirt that costs £95.
Whether he returns to his business or finds fame on Love Island, Lorenzo looks ready!
