The Tokyo E-Prix is being held under the night sky for the first time as scorching daytime temperatures make it difficult for racers. During the day it stays above 32 degrees, with a real feeling of over 40 degrees, but during racing at night it can drop to 24-25 degrees. Humidity is also expected to make things difficult, with thunderstorms not ruled out during practice on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will remain around 34 degrees Celsius on Friday, with actual temperatures near 42 degrees Celsius, according to AccuWeather.com. It will be cloudy with light rain expected in the afternoon, which could provide some relief for drivers taking part in first practice for the Tokyo E-Prix at 7:00 pm local time (3:30 pm IST). Temperatures are expected to drop to around 24 degrees Celsius, with a slight chance of thunderstorms.Due to the rain, the weather will be very wet on Saturday, July 25, although thunderstorms are expected in some areas of Tokyo. The temperature will remain around 32 degrees Celsius, with the actual temperature expected to be 39 degrees Celsius. There is very little chance of rain as the riders will take part in the second FP at 13:30 local time (10:00 IST) and qualifying at 15:40 local time (12:10 IST). Temperatures could drop as low as 25 degrees Celsius as the first night race, Stage 14, begins in Tokyo at 8:05 pm local time (4:35 pm IST).No rain is expected during the Round 15 race, but it will be cloudy and very humid. While the temperature will remain around 32 degrees Celsius during the third FP, it is expected to drop to around 25 degrees Celsius by the evening of the finale. Thunderstorms are also possible in the afternoon.This is the first time racing has been held under the night sky in Tokyo, with not one, but two night races.
